ABOUT-HERO
Most CPA relationships follow the same pattern. You gather your documents, your CPA files your return, you pay the bill, and you hear from them again the following February. The return is accurate. The process is repeatable. And year after year, the tax bill stays roughly where it was.
SG Inc CPA was built on a different premise: that a CPA relationship should be doing something throughout the year, not just in the weeks before a deadline. That business and personal finances should be coordinated into one plan, not managed separately by different advisors. That the clients who pay the least in taxes are the ones whose CPA is actively working on the problem before the year closes — not after.
We serve medical practice owners, real estate investors, and high-income business owners from two offices — Plano, TX for the DFW metro and Milpitas, CA for Silicon Valley and the Bay Area. Our work is led by Shweta Garg, CPA, CTC, one of a limited number of Certified Tax Coaches in practice. For the clients we work with best, that distinction is not a credential on a wall — it is the difference in what their CPA is actually doing between April and December.
Three principles shape how SG Inc CPA is organised, how we engage with clients, and what we think a CPA relationship should actually deliver.
By the time a return is filed, the year is over. The decisions that reduce tax liability — entity structure, compensation, retirement contributions, depreciation — have to be made before the year closes. That is where our work is concentrated.
For the clients we serve, the decisions made in a business return directly affect the personal return. We treat them as one coordinated plan because that is the only way to see the full opportunity — and the full exposure.
Year-round advisory access is not a premium add-on. It is a core function of a planning-focused engagement. Questions about deals, purchases, compensation, and entity changes have to be answered before decisions are made — not after.
SG Inc CPA is not structured to serve everyone. The firm is built around three client profiles that share a common characteristic: their financial picture has enough complexity and enough at stake that accurate compliance alone leaves meaningful money on the table.
Physicians, surgeons, dentists, and clinic operators managing practice income, personal wealth, and the intersection of healthcare operations and tax strategy — in DFW and across Silicon Valley.
Property owners, landlords, and multi-entity investors across Collin County, Dallas County, Santa Clara County, and Alameda County who need cost segregation, lender-ready books, and a tax plan that accounts for the full portfolio.
S-Corp operators, LLC owners, and growth-stage entrepreneurs with $500K or more in annual revenue who have outgrown a compliance-only CPA and need entity optimisation, owner compensation strategy, and year-round advisory support.
The way SG Inc CPA engages with clients is different from a standard CPA practice in a few specific ways. These are not positioning statements — they are operational commitments that shape every client relationship.
Every new engagement begins with a structured review of your current returns, entity structure, and financial picture — to identify what has been missed and what can be improved before we propose anything.
The most valuable tax planning happens between January and October. We build mid-year projections, review compensation structures, and model retirement options while there is still time to act — not as a retrospective exercise in April.
For business owners and physicians, the two sides of the return are not independent problems. We prepare both and manage the interaction between them — because the strategies that reduce one side often depend on what is happening on the other.
Clients can reach their CPA team for compensation decisions, major purchases, deal reviews, entity changes, and tax projections — not just when a return is due. This is included in the engagement, not billed separately.
Healthcare and real estate are not general-practice verticals for SG Inc CPA — they are the firm’s primary focus. The same applies to the California and Texas tax environments. Clients work with a team that has built its practice around their specific situation.
SG Inc CPA is led by a Certified Tax Coach — a designation held by a small number of CPAs nationally, reflecting advanced training in proactive tax reduction beyond standard preparation and compliance.
